Old Steam in Mansfield

Picture 1 (at top) is the Old Great Central Railway Station, sadly no longer around, note the wooden platform.

Picture 2 (above right) is the Viaduct from mansfield Station which is still there and continues to carry the present day railway however, the signal box and signal gantries have long gone.






Pictures 3 and 4 (right and down with captions and a map) show the original line and connection, it now runs from Nottingham to Worksop via Mansfield, still with the original Station Building
